Laser distance measurement sensors are powerful and robust instruments
designed to meet the demands of the industrial measurement market. The
Dimetix products provides accurate and contact-less distance measurement
over distances from 50 mm to 500 m (2 inches to 1640 feet).
The target surface may be smooth or rough, wet or dry, dull or high-gloss;
flat, inclined, or round. The measuring range for natural surfaces
is 50 mm to 65 m. A special reflecting target plate increases
the range to 500 m.

Laser glasses — red filter makes the laser beam spot easier to
see in bright environments. These glasses are not for eye protection, but to help see the beam better. For safety, do not look directly into the beam.

Laser lifetime is better than five years at +20C. Laser
lifetime is reduced at higher operating temperatures.
Uses a red laser diode, 620-690 nm, less than 0.95 mW. Class
II laser product. Very brief exposure to the direct laser beam is
considered non-harmful. Do not stare into the laser beam.
